German native, 49 years with fluency in English, Spanish and Italian

Mathias Joachim Hermann Stuefe is well known in Frankfurt´s financial community for more than two decades. He studied business administration and languages at universities in NewYork USA, Siena Italy, Madrid, Spain and Mannheim, Germany until 1984. Before he got his own company started Mr. Stuefe worked as a trainee in Seoul, South Korea, as a bank representative of a Spanish group (Banco Urquijo, Grupo March) in Frankfurt and as head of international equity origination of Deutsche Bank Frankfurt until 1994.

His educational background and his working experience helped him to understand new markets and globalisation at a very early stage. He started covering emerging stock markets as early as 1985 with his study “Spain before the EC (= European Community) entry”. After the fall of the “iron curtain” he was focussing on Budapest Stock Exchange as the chairman of Deutsche Balaton AG, a German holding company, a start up with Euro 2.5 Million Euro capital only, increasing to more than Euro 120 Mio. Since 2003 he has been dealing with Stock Exchanges in Kiev, Bucharest and Istanbul in cooperation with RaiffeisenCentrobank Vienna and AK Securities Istanbul.

Mathias Stuefe has started founding his own group in 1995 that at present consists of

  • Stuefe & Partner Asset Management, a fully licensed Portfoliomanager supervised by Deutsche Bundesbank and BaFin; partners: UBS, Deutsche Bank Frankfurt, RaiffeisenCentrobank Vienna, Bank Julius Bär Zürich and Luxembourg
  • PS Capital Consulting AG, a corporation acting as a consultant for structuring private wealth in form of holdings, listings, option schemes
  • Kingstone Europe AG, a holding company investing in emerging markets and offering IPO/listing services as well as smart stuctures for conglomerates of very rich individuals all over the world and a specialty in Germany: issue of stock options connected with a bond.
Mr. Stuefe has a profound knowledge of how to run a supervisory board, stockholder meetings, how to give live interviews for listed companies and has been playing an active role in the following supervisory boards:

Chairman of Deutsche Balaton AG Heidelberg Deutsche Balaton from 1991 till 1999; listed in the primary market
Chairman of GTG AG Kassel from 1997 to 1999, listed in the open market
Chairman of the First German Bank Budapest from 1994 to 2000
Chairman of ASOC AG Heidelberg from 1997 to 1999
Chairman from 2004 till 2007 and since 2007 Vice Chairman of Advides AG Frankfurt, listed in the open market
In his privat life he is a happy father of two children, loves waterskiing and modern art and enjoys being a member of honor of the “workshop stock exchange Mannheim University”, founded by him in 1984 and nowadays Germany´s best known non profit organization covering capital markets with more than 400 members and members of honour such as Dr. Breuer (former CEO Deutsche Bank Group).
